Sixth Form student, Yang-Fan Zhou, has participated in an Adidas ‘London – Take the Stage’ pre-Olympic campaign. Known as Project 32, teenage talents in London’s 32 boroughs were selected for targeted billboard advertising (pictured). The participants included street dancers, singers, photographers and sportsmen and women.  Yang-Fan also features in a video clip where he had the chance to meet with the British Chess number one player, Mickey Adams. The video can be viewed on the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKIWk00mTNc&feature=plcp

Yang-Fan greatly enjoyed the experience, during which he got to meet his advert counterparts on the photo shoot, and share their passions. After completing his International Baccalaureate course he will be taking a gap year to pursue his chess interest. A place at Cambridge also awaits him where he will study engineering.
