Sports and Creative Activities Programme

At Whitgift Summer School, we place great emphasis on learning outside the classroom; our Sports and Creative Activities Programme is a vital part of the experience.

Groups will be split into Lower School (11 – 14 years) and Upper School (14 – 17 years). Our English student hosts will take part in the full range of the Sports and Creative Activities Programme.

Whitgift’s outstanding facilities come into play in this part of the Whitgift Summer School course, and we offer the following sports and activities:

Academies and Multi-Activity Course

A wide variety of Academies and a Multi-Activity Course are offered, enabling every student to find activities which interest him/her.

Academies include four 90-minute sessions of specialist coaching, with appropriately qualified instructors, over a one-week period.

Our Multi-Activity Course gives students the opportunity to try out two different activities per week.

The Sports and Creative Activities Programme is a two-week rolling programme over the course of the summer. The Academies/Activities in weeks 1 / 3 / 5 differ to weeks 2 / 4.
