Inside the Boarding HouseStudents in Dining Hall 2016A Senior Single Room

Our students stay in Founder’s House, a beautiful, state-of-the-art boarding house, opened by HRH The Duke of York, KG, Whitgift’s Patron, in October 2013. The boarding house is situated overlooking our Water Gardens, which are home to exotic species such as flamingos and wallabies.

Inside Founder’s House, there are communal areas which invite Whitgift Summer School students to relax and socialise with other students. All bedrooms are either double or triple rooms, and have their own en-suite bathrooms. Students will share their room with somebody of the same sex and a similar age, but of a different nationality.

Wi-Fi access is available, enabling our students to stay in touch with their families.

There are four dedicated House Parents who live in Founder’s House throughout the summer to supervise the students.

We provide three freshly-cooked meals a day, and snacks in the afternoon and evening. There is a menu of food choices and we cater for different dietary requirements.
