September 2011 saw the launch at Whitgift of a major new curriculum initiative involving Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Academic results in STEM subjects are excellent, and senior boys are made aware of the many opportunities open to them in Scientific, Technological and Engineering fields through a well-established Careers Conversazione held at the School. The new initiative will add to the current provision by demonstrating links between the different disciplines and highlighting applications of curriculum work in a variety of ways.
