Sounds simple, doesn’t it? Unfortunately, as has been shown in recent recession-addled years, even the professionals can’t always win at the stock market game.

The Investment Society will give members the chance to learn about how stock trading works and the principles behind building a portfolio.

Should you go high-risk, high-return or take a potentially less profitable but more secure route?

Your skills will be tested in the national IFS Student Investor Challenge, where you will pit your portfolio against teams from hundreds of other schools for the chance to win the top prize of a trip to New York as well as prize money for both you and the School.
