The Government Inspector
Wednesday 6, Thursday 7 & Saturday 9 December

The Mayor is in a cold sweat. An imminent visit from a Government Inspector propels him into a frenzy. The hospital’s a health hazard, the school’s a war zone, the soldiers don’t have trousers and he never quite got around to building that church…!
A simple case of mistaken identity leads matters to spiral hysterically out of control in Gogol’s satirical masterpiece; a hilarious riot of corruption, lies and greed, as relevant today as when it was first performed in St. Petersburg in 1836.
*Ticket price includes a drink during the course of the evening.
**Concessions: Children 16 and under, Over 60s, Students (17–25 in full-time education)
