Facilities: Concert Hall

The Concert Hall is the envy of many musical establishments.  With comfortable seating for over 300 people and superb acoustics, it provides an impressive venue for many concerts and professional recitals. The Concert Hall houses a 9’4” concert grand piano, made by Fazioli of Venice, which places the School in the unique position of being able to offer this fine instrument to leading concert pianists for recitals and recordings. A small chamber organ, a full-sized practise organ, a harpsichord, and a recording studio help to make this Hall a very special concert venue. Each year Whitgift School hosts the highly successful Croydon Music Festival attracting hundreds of amateur musicians from surrounding areas.
