The Support Department supports staff, students and their families to help the boys reach their potential. As well as those with general difficulties hindering progress, the department also identifies and supports pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD). Support takes the form of either 1:1 small group sessions, or in-class support.

The department also works with 5th and 6th form pupils, providing guidance on study skills and learning styles. The Gifted and Talented students in all years are identified and monitored. Students in year 7 are given literacy screening.
