In October a group of Fourth Form students accompanied by Mr Morris and Dr Palomo-Lopez travelled to Valencia for their exchange. Upon arrival, students were met by their host families and were taken to their homes, spending the first few days settling in and getting to know their new Spanish friends.
The students thoroughly enjoyed bowling and took the opportunity to bond as a group. Everyone enjoyed the food, especially the parma ham (jamón serrano), all whilst practicing their Spanish.
Students then toured El Mestalla, home to Valencia F.C. It was a stadium to remember with its large capacity and impressive trophy cabinet. They ended the trip with a bike ride through the parks and streets of Valencia.
Fourth Form student, Daniel Claydon commented “All in all, it was an experience we will never forget as we built relationships that will last a lifetime. Thank you to Mr Morris and Dr Palomo-Lopez for organising such a great trip and all the work that goes behind the scenes to organise an exchange. We can’t wait to welcome our new friends to London in April. İLo pasamos bomba!”
