Whitgift School is part of the John Whitgift Foundation, whose Court members are the legal trustees of the Charity. They delegate to the Whitgift School Committee (‘Our Governors’) the oversight of the strategic direction of the School and its educational offering and success.
The Whitgift Governors meet termly and also support the executive team through four sub-committees: Finance, Education and Welfare, Partnerships and Community and International. These committees bring together the senior leadership and governors.
The Chairman of the Court can be contacted through the Chief Executive, Martin Corney.
John Whitgift Foundation is a charity that works to support people of all ages and backgrounds and brings them together to inspire a sense of community in all it does. The mission is to provide access to education, care for older people and support for Croydon's carers.
