Academic
Whitgift offers the very finest education. Founded by Archbishop John Whitgift in 1600, for almost 425 years Whitgift’s vision has been to:
"Educate bright and talented young men, whatever their background, to become independent learners and thinkers, to achieve beyond what they believed they could, and to leave us ready to give back to the society in which they will be leaders."
Our approach to education is also seen in certain unique features of student opportunities at Whitgift:

Join Our Journey
Junior Years 10-13
The beginning of a Whitgiftians journey is in the Junior Years - a time where natural curiosity and independent learning are encouraged to grow and students are exposed to a wealth of new ideas, activities and learning opportunities.
Middle Years 13-16
Alongside equipping them for academic success, the Middle Years at Whitgift will support students to mature emotionally, helping them to develop a strong sense of who they are and what they want to accomplish.
Sixth Form 16+
Whether opting for an A Level or International Baccalaureate pathway, students in Whitgift’s Sixth Form are immersed in a challenging yet hugely rewarding experience, with inspiring tutors who support them as they prepare for their chosen path after Whitgift.
