Third Form (Year 9) boys learn in the Main School Buildings and have full use of the outstanding and interactive classrooms, science labs and co-curricular facilities available at the school. Students begin to specialise in academic and co-curricular subjects they will be studying at GCSE level, and make choices in Creative and Language subjects. Combined Cadet Force and Duke of Edinburgh are introduced in the Third Form, with students building on their decision making and leadership skills. Students are encouraged to strive for roles as Middle Years Prefects and to join representative bodies such as Student Councils. A Head of Year, their Deputy and an Assistant Head, support each student in pastoral, academic and co-curricular areas. Students are actively encouraged to take part in the exhilarating Senior House system, participating in debating, Drama, Music, Sport and many more competitions with the camaraderie of their House Team.
