16+ Entry

Applications for 16+ entry in 2022 have now closed.

If you have missed the closing date, there may be an opportunity to contact us on GCSE results day, with your results, when we may be in a position to reconsider the number of places available.

If your son achieves outstanding exam results and you would like to make a late appeal for Sixth Form entry, you are welcome to contact us via email at admissions@whitgift.co.uk with a copy of the results and his most recent school report with teacher's comments.

The Sixth Form experience is an exciting time for any student. At Whitgift, students’ achievements in their final two years have reached exceptional levels in the past few years, confirming Whitgift as one of the country’s leading boys schools.

The School offers a rich variety of co-curricular activities, Music, Drama and Sports, superb facilities and the tradition of a commitment to each student’s all-round development.

Our Sixth Form Centre provides students with their own dedicated space, and includes areas for group and private study. Students can study International Baccalaureate, A Levels and BTEC in Sixth Form, and our Head of Sixth Form and specialised Sixth Form teachers offer guidance to support each path.

The wide range of options and opportunities for initiative, responsibility and leadership help develop each student as an individual, preparing him for Higher Education, his future life in society and his chosen career.
