Old Whitgiftian Callum Hudson-Odoi (2012–2015) returned to Whitgift to commemorate the official opening of the new Edridge Hybrid Pitch.
Callum, who made history in March 2019 as the youngest player ever to debut in a competitive match for England at just 18 years old, currently plays for Premier League club Nottingham Forest.
During his visit, Callum participated in two engaging Q&A sessions with Mr Martin (Director of Football), inspiring both First Formers and the U14 Football team. Students had the unique opportunity to ask questions about his time at Whitgift and his journey to becoming a professional footballer.
The occasion was a source of inspiration for pupils, reinforcing the importance of hard work, resilience, and seizing opportunities.
