Jack Preuveneers (2009 – 2016) was presented to Her Majesty the Queen at the official opening of the Royal Philatelic Society of London (RPSL). Founded in 1952 as the Scandinavian Collectors Club, the Society promotes the collection of Scandinavian history.
During his time at Whitgift, Jack built an international collection of 18th and 19th century Scandinavian philately and was named British Youth Stamp Champion in September 2019.
HM The Queen requested to meet young philatelists and Jack, currently in his 3rd year of MEng in Ship Science at Southampton University, was invited to attend.
