Oxbridge results are in...

Fifty-seven boys applied for Oxbridge and fourteen have secured offers including a scholarship for Cambridge. 

The Organ Scholarship at the University of Cambridge, Selwyn College was offered to Adam Field who joined Whitgift from Oxted School at age 16. 

“The outstanding provision for academic and extra-curricular music at Whitgift and dedicated staff in the department have played an extremely prominent role in securing an offer to read Music with an Organ Scholarship at Cambridge.” 

Whitgift’s links with Croydon Minster played a vital role in preparing Adam who describes the ‘stellar support’ from the School as being pivotal during the application and interview process. Adam will join Cambridge in September 2021.  

Brajan Budini was offered a place at Trinity College, Cambridge to study Medicine. 

“Whitgift has been the supporting pillar in my journey to academic success, enabling me to develop into a confident academic thinker,” explains Brajan who joined Whitgift on a Bursary Scheme in September 2018. 

A further five boys secured offers from Cambridge and seven from Oxford.
