2024 A Level results for Whitgift students celebrated

South Croydon: Whitgift is pleased to announce that this year’s A Level students have achieved a collective 92% grades A* to B, with 11 of this year’s cohort gaining a remarkable A* in all their subjects. Combined with the IB results released earlier in the summer, nearly 64% of all grades awarded to this cohort have been A* / A or the 7 / 6 Higher Level IB equivalents.

In the final year of the BTEC at Whitgift, Students continued the excellent record of results with all candidates securing triple Distinctions and some achieving a perfect string of D*s.

Mr Andrew Halls, Interim Headmaster for the coming academic year said: “Huge congratulations to all our A Level students on their excellent results. They have achieved so much to be proud of on both an individual and collective basis and they now go on to their life beyond Whitgift with an excellent platform from which to build. My thanks also go to their families and of course our staff for the support they have provided through their Sixth Form journey.”

The result follows from the School’s International Baccalaureate results which were released in early July 2024 and saw the cohort achieve an average of 37 points.

The Headmaster and staff at Whitgift congratulate every student for their diligence and perseverance which has led to some great personal achievements and opportunities. We are all extremely proud of them.
