Whitgift GCSE students celebrate exceptional results

Headmaster at Open Morning 2022

South Croydon: Whitgift’s GCSE students returned to Haling Park this morning to collect their results and celebrate with their peers, family and tutors. Their committed hard work led to over 40% of grades awarded at 9 and nearly 68% of them at 8 or 9. From this year’s cohort 15 students achieved grade 9s across the board, and 35 attained at least nine GCSEs at grade 9.

Mr Andrew Halls, Interim Headmaster for the coming academic year commented “We are extremely proud of the hard work and dedication that our Fifth Formers have put into their studies which has very clearly shown in their collective results today. It’s been a morning of great celebration for all of us, and I am looking forward to watching further success from them as many transition to their Sixth Form careers at Whitgift.”

The Headmaster and staff warmly congratulate the students on their efforts which have led to success – we are all very proud of them.
