Celebrating World Book Day with Author, Ken Preston

As part of our World Book Day celebrations, the School welcomed acclaimed author Ken Preston, whose visit inspired students to deepen their love of reading and storytelling. 

Mrs Bauer, Head Librarian, reflected on the day 
“Ken’s workshops were a real highlight, they were engaging, thoughtful, and thoroughly enjoyed by the students. The boys especially appreciated the opportunity to meet him in person during the lunchtime book signing in the Raeburn Library, it created a wonderful sense of excitement around the importance of World Book Day and reading for pleasure.” 

Mrs Boon, Head of English, also shared her enthusiasm "It was a delight to watch the pupils engage with Ken's story-creation activities and have the chance to receive feedback and advice from a published author."
