On Monday 9 December 2024, Whitgift’s Music department hosted a festive Christmas Concert in the Concert Hall.
This new addition to the Arts calendar was well-received with students, parents, staff and visitors filling the venue. Upon arrival, attendees were welcomed with mulled wine and mince pies, setting a cosy, festive tone for the evening.
As they took their seats, audience members discovered a surprise waiting for them—a Christmas cracker programme. Inside, they found a crayon and a paper hat, encouraging them to engage creatively by colouring in and marking off the songs performed throughout the night.
The repertoire included popular Christmas classics such as Jingle Bell Rock, Feliz Navidad, Last Christmas and Stop the Cavalry.
