Whitgift supported the ‘Hello Yellow’ campaign in aid of Young Minds marking World Mental Health Day. Students and staff added a touch of yellow to their uniform to raise awareness of the importance of mental health in young people.
Young Minds, the UK’s leading mental health charity for children and young people, works to ensure that no young person feels alone with their mental health struggles. The charity provides vital support and resources, advocating for better mental health care and early intervention.
Students participated in a range of activities including a lively photo booth where they captured fun moments with friends using yellow-themed props in the Junior School.
A popular bake sale held in the Junior playground also contributed to the event, raising over £1,260 for Young Minds. The final total is still being counted, and donations remain open through the JustGiving link here.
