Music returns to Whitgift House

It has been a challenging year in the world of music making, however an outdoor music recital at Whitgift House, provided musical light at the end of the covid tunnel, as Upper Sixth IB students headed across the field with voices and instruments tuned.

Whitgift House residents who live just a stone's throw from the School and would normally receive two or three visits a term from students across all year groups, were very pleased to see them back again. All enjoyed the live music, with a programme ranging from Bach to Oasis under the gazebo in the communal garden.

The visits are a wonderful opportunity to nurture communication and respect between different generations, resulting in students and residents looking forward to the next visit.
