This summer marked the 7th year of Whitgift’s Community Summer School, a programme that continues to grow in both reach and impact. Thanks to the generosity of the John Whitgift Foundation and Crystal Palace Football Club’s Palace for Life Foundation, 168 Year 5 pupils from 28 local primary schools joined us for an action-packed week of learning, discovery and fun.
The programme offered a wide range of academic and co-curricular activities designed to build confidence ahead of the pupils’ final year of primary school, while giving them the opportunity to experience the exceptional facilities and opportunities available at Whitgift.
The enthusiasm, energy and curiosity displayed throughout the week were a testament to how much the children embraced every opportunity!
Supported by dedicated Whitgift staff, alongside an outstanding team of Sixth Form volunteers, the Community Summer School once again created an inspiring environment for all.
