14 Whitgiftians secure Oxbridge offers

Congratulations to the 14 Whitgiftians who have secured Oxbridge offers for 2024 entry (most of whom after pictured). There have been seven offers from the University of Oxford and seven from the University of Cambridge with applicants going on to read a wide range of subjects including Languages, Music, English Literature, History, Maths and Engineering. Amongst the offer-holders is an international sportsman as well as some notable musicians and young entrepreneurs.

Whitgift is proud of all the Sixth Formers who are working hard to secure their offers alongside preparing for exams. These candidates will have taken aptitude tests, read, thought and studied widely, and the intensity of the preparation process is a testament to their dedication and resilience. Many others were interviewed but unlucky, but the spirit of companionship amongst the whole group of some sixty candidates is always palpable. Thanks also to Mr Alcock (Director of Higher Education) and the entire Sixth Form team for their role in offering continued support and guidance.
