Whitgift students to compete in International Championships

Whitgift is proud to announce that two Upper Sixth Form students, Jacky and Jack will be competing on the international stage in their respective sports.

Jacky has been selected by Badminton England to represent the nation at the Badminton World Junior Championships in China, taking place from Monday 30 September to Sunday 13 October. In preparation, he was invited to train at the National Badminton Centre leading up to the event.

Jack will be representing Great Britain at the U19 World Modern Pentathlon Championships from Monday 23 September to Sunday 29 September in Lithuania. Jack has previously represented GB on numerous occasions, and this marks another significant achievement in his sporting career.

The Whitgift community is incredibly proud of both Jacky and Jack for their dedication and hard work. The School wishes them the best of luck in their respective competitions!
