Archery at Whitgift

Whitgift Archery Club started in 2014 and has now become a popular sport amongst a variety of different students and is well regarded for its mental wellbeing benefits and inclusivity.

Mr Litchfield met with a representative from IET in March, to discuss the benefits of Archery on student’s wellbeing. Here is a link to the case study featured in IET’s National Press article on ‘The potential power of archery in education to support wellbeing’.

Team GB Archer, Coach Rafal Radosz, has been the driving force of the Whitgift Archery programme since its inception, and with the School’s close links with Southfields Archery Club, there are further opportunities for students to develop their passion for the sport.
