Football news - Lent 2020

Since the start of last term Whitgift Football has played 130 fixtures with over 330 boys participating. The U14s remain on track to make it an historic hat trick of ESFA national titles. The U15s are currently unbeaten, winning all eight of their last eight matches and are still in both national competitions.

We are excited to have had six international call ups since September 2019 alone; Leo Castledine (England U15s), Billie Gee (England U16s), Fionn Mooney (the Republic of Ireland U18s), Jadan Raymond (England U17s), James Sweet (Wales U17s) and Morgan Williams (Wales U16s).

During the Michaelmas Half Term, 34 of the U16-U18 pupils attended a training camp in Oliva Nova, situated just outside of Valencia. The six-day camp consisted of two training sessions per day, along with two matches which the boys won 6-2 and 2-1 against local teams.
