Junior Productions

Junior productions hold an almost mythical place in the Whitgift psyche, with legendary performances in productions such as Lord of the Flies and Billy Elliott being talked about in hushed tones. Rightly so, Junior productions are seen as the place where burgeoning talents are discovered and developed. The emphasis, as always at Whitgift, is on excellence and inclusivity. All are welcome, and the theatre production allows for every possible passion and level of engagement; from the title role, to the maker of a single prop, everyone can contribute.

There are two fully staged Junior Productions each Academic year, with one of these often directed by a member of the Upper Sixth. Recently these productions have featured titles such as Around the World in 80 Days, Alice in Wonderland, Lionboy, and Swallows & Amazons.
