Judo

Judo has continued to thrive at Whitgift with participation numbers increasing dramatically. The club runs during the week under the expert tutelage of Darren Hawney (ex-GB international).

Whether competing competitively inside and outside of school or participating for recreational reasons the students seem to love the demands of the sport. 

The School regularly finishes in the top three schools at the HMC National Championships and Whitgift pupils have won 13 national titles over the past five years with three pupils winning international representative honours.

Judo provides a fantastic opportunity to try a new sport in a fun and exciting environment regardless of whether new to the school or an existing student, . Make sure you don’t miss out!
