Masterclasses

Twice a year, 48 local primary pupils attend a 6-week course in English, Mathematics and Science.

The masterclass programme aims to support pupils with academic potential to achieve it, through developing their problem solving and analytical skills in English, Mathematics and Science. Whitgift teachers and students deliver exciting, stimulating lessons which challenge participants to think beyond their normal learning. Pupils are selected by their headteachers as those with potential who would benefit from some additional support.
