Thank you to everyone who submitted their entries and congratulations to the finalists. All finalists will be recording their recitals in the Concert Hall on Tuesday 30th March and the results will be announced shortly after.
There will be three competition classes arranged by year group, as follows (subject to change):
- Junior Class - Lower First and First Form Students
- Intermediate Class - Second, Third, and Fourth Form Students
- Senior Class - Fifth and Sixth Form Students
Songs performed can be in any style and do not have to be linked to either an ABRSM or Trinity College London exam. After each round, the adjudication will be carried out by David Butt Philip. David started life as a chorister in Somerset, and is now a world-famous tenor singing in opera houses all over the world including the Royal Opera House in London and the Metropolitan Opera in New York.
This promises to be an inspiring experience for everyone involved and we very much look forward to hearing what you have to offer.
