Meet the Team! Jackson Sharp, Student Host and Day Student Co-Ordinator
My name is Jackson Sharp, and I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the Summer School this year as one of your Student Hosts and Day Student Co-Ordinators.

This will be my first year taking part in the International Summer School but this is my second year at Whitgift as a Teacher of Geography. As well as teaching at Whitgift, I am also lucky enough to play a part in the Boarding House as a Deputy Housemaster so I can assure you that your children will be in safe hands!

I was born and raised in the mighty Herefordshire before undertaking my BSc in Geography at the University of York as well as my PGCE. I then made the jump to London to start work here at Whitgift and have had nothing but positive experiences to look back on. I have been lucky enough to be involved all over the school from trips out to Drama productions to cheering on our school football teams at regular fixtures. I am looking forward to being able to get involved in all of these activities and more this summer.

When I am not in school I spend my time travelling the world (as any true Geographer should!) and this summer I will be ticking of some of the Americas from my list. As my list of countries grows shorter my grasp on different cultures and traditions grows larger but I am especially excited to learn more this summer interacting with each and every one of you.

I look forward to seeing you all soon!
