Hello, I’m Beth and I will be the Activity Manager this year at Whitgift Summer School. I have worked at Whitgift Summer School for two summers as an EFL teacher and I am looking forward to this new role.
I spent 9 years abroad immersing myself in a range of cultures and taught English as a foreign language for many of those years as well as spending 3 and a half years in China learning Kung Fu and managing the Kung Fu school before returning to the UK in 2016 to qualify as a primary school teacher specialising in Physical Education. Since, I have lead PE as well as other areas of the curriculum in a primary school and I am excited to combine all of my knowledge to give your children an exciting experience that they will remember for years to come.
Ms Watson used to manage a Kung Fu School and is very keen on Muy Thai Kickboxing too.
I believe that every child has unique interests and talents, and I am dedicated to creating a wide range of activities that will cater to all of their needs. From sports and arts to cultural excursions and team building activities, there will be something for everyone. My aim is to provide a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment for your children to learn, grow and have fun.
Ms Watson has worked as a teacher on our summer programme and this year returns as our Activity Manager.
I believe that summer school is not just about learning English, but also about personal growth and social development. As activity manager, I want to create an environment where children can develop their confidence, independence and communication skills, while having fun and making friends from all over the world.
Ms Watson believes that the activities outside the classroom offer so much to the students in terms of their social and culural development.
I am excited to work with the amazing team of teachers and staff at Whitgift Summer School to create a program that will inspire and challenge your children. I look forward to meeting you all and making this summer an unforgettable experience for your children!
