Sport at Whitgift has something for everyone, at all levels. Physical activity and team sports help to build resilience and we want all our boys to develop a life-long love of activity, and to see it as integral to their lives. Students will be challenged to pursue their own personal ambitions, whilst promoting tolerance and respect, learning to embrace failure with humility.
We believe that all students, regardless of ability, should have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of co-curricular activities. At Whitgift, there are over 40 sporting activities available through the school week and weekend, providing students with a balance of traditional sports, outdoor adventurous pursuits and non-competitive recreational activities.
Our sector leading sports facilities and outstanding staff body ensure that all students at Whitgift are supported to develop a love of sport and pursue success at whatever level they deem appropriate.
Over the last decade, though the dedication and passion of our students, and our coaching that nurtures talent at all levels, Whitgift has won over 300 national titles across a wide range of sporting activities.
