Our residential students stay in Founder's House, a modern and relaxing boarding house. Situated overlooking our water garden and home to exotic flamingoes, students can take advantage of this ideal location during their stay with us.
The residence itself is fully equipped with WiFi, a computer room, study area, and two common rooms. Bedrooms are single, double or triple, all with en-suite bathrooms.
Our caring, enthusiastic and experienced House Parents supervise the students when they are in the boarding house and are always available to support them in any way they can, creating a 'home away from home' setting that ensures students feel as comfortable as possible.
We believe that the experience of staying at our residence provides students with a fantastic opportunity to make the most of what Whitgift School can offer, both inside and outside the classroom.
Perfect place and people
Students are supervised in the boarding house by our dedicated House Parents and Welfaire manager, who live in Founder’s House throughout the duration of our short courses. They are there to look after the students' day to day care and are on hand to deal with any issues that may arise. A nurse is also onsite Monday-Friday and Sundays.
Inside the Founder’s House, there are communal areas for students to relax and socialise.
All bedrooms are either single, double or triple rooms, and have their own en-suite bathrooms. Students normally share their room with somebody of the same sex and a similar age, but of a different nationality. Wi-Fi access is available, so you can stay in touch with your family.
