Hockey Academy

Whitgift School has one of the best Hockey departments of any school in the United Kingdom, with coaches who have played at the highest level of the game.

All Whitgift Summer School students who attend the Hockey Academy are supported through:

• Whitgift’s team of professional coaches
• A hockey programme that challenges students from different levels
• A sustained focus on supporting and developing their skills  
• Encouraging them to form friendships for life

The Hockey Academy will run on the following weeks in 2024: 

• Week 2: Monday 15 July - Friday 19 July
• Week 4: Monday 29 July - Friday 2 August
• Week 6: Monday 12 August - Friday 16 August

Students are required to bring shin pads, mouth guards, astro/trainers (no molded boots) to participate in this academy. You will be provided with a hockey stick.
