Whitgift Summer School in South London has been running since 2015. Our progressive, diverse and inspiring short courses attract students from all over the world and during the 2025 summer, we welcomed 29 nationalities to our school. Utilising fantastic staff, and with inspirational grounds and facilities, our main aim is that every visiting student who stays at Whitgift has an unforgettable and enjoyable educational experience.

At Whitgift Summer School we offer exciting courses for students from around the world. This includes Intensive General English, Skills in Academic English, Digital Champions and Academic Enrichment. Residential students attend for a minimum of two weeks and can stay for a maximum of six weeks. We also welcome non-residential students who participate in all the summer school has to offer but do not reside at Whitgift during their stay. Students have morning classes with their new international friends and in the afternoon have project-based lessons with boys from our year-round school and girls from our partner school, the Student Ambassadors. These afternoon project based lessons are a unique chance for international students to have lessons, socialise and make friends with first language English speakers who attend school here in the UK.
