Excursions

Whitgift's fantastic location offers summer school students the best of London and the South of England.
 

Given that Whitgift Summer school is located only an hour by coach from Central London and famous University towns, we are able to take students on some fantastic excursions. We want our students to experience the best of what the United Kingdom and British culture has to offer, so we organise excursions during the summer to the most exciting attractions such as:

  • London Eye and Cruise along the River Thames
  • Historical and movie themed walking tours in Central London (Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, Southbank)
  • London Dungeons
  • Thorpe Park 
  • Chessington World of Adventures
  • Windsor
  • London Athletics Meet at Queen Elizabeth Stadium
  • Outdoor activity centre (High ropes, buggy building, caving)

All excursions and equipment required are included in the course fee.
