Arrivals & Departures

Whitgift School is located in south London, only 45 minutes from London Gatwick and 1 hour from London Heathrow. We are also only 30 minutes from Central London by train, handy for students who travel by train to London St Pancras.

We offer a complimentary transfer service for residential students arriving or departing between 09:00 – 18:00 at London Gatwick, London Heathrow and St. Pancras International Railway Station on specified Sundays. 

Outside of these hours, we can organise an out of hours transfer to the below locations below upon request, with the fees applicable per child:

Alternatively, outside of these hours, students can be collected from the boarding house by: 

1. a parent  
2. a guardian (parental consent along with guardian name, copy of passport and contact details required in advance) 
3. a taxi from either Station Cars or Addison Lee booked by the agent/parent if the student is not travelling as an Unaccompanied Minor (UM). Students over the age of 15 can travel solo in the taxi, if consent has been received from family.
   Students under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a member of summer school staff if this has been requested and will be subject the the above fees.

Parents/guardians need to make their own arrangements for transfers to any other locations. Unfortunately we are unable to support transfers to other airports or train stations other than those listed above.

Parents/guardians wishing to collect their child at school outside of transfer Sundays should inform the admin office at least two weeks in advance as it affects the student’s schedules e.g. lessons, excursions etc.
