Business & Entrepreneurship Course

Our Business & Entrepreneurship course is designed for students aged 14 to 18 who are interested in business, innovation, and leadership.

Available as a two-week programme, it provides an engaging introduction to how successful businesses are created, marketed, and managed.

Students explore key areas of business including marketing, finance, branding, product development, and customer engagement. Through real-world case studies and practical activities, they learn how businesses identify opportunities, solve problems, and adapt to changing markets.

A major focus of the course is developing and pitching a business idea. Working in teams, students generate concepts, research their target audience, create marketing strategies, and consider how their idea could be brought to market. They then present their proposals, helping them develop confidence in public speaking, communication, and persuasion.

Lessons are highly interactive and encourage students to work collaboratively, think creatively, and make informed decisions. Business simulations and group challenges provide opportunities to apply new knowledge while developing leadership, teamwork, and negotiation skills.

Throughout the course, students gain an insight into the qualities that help entrepreneurs and business leaders succeed. They learn how to evaluate opportunities, manage risk, analyse markets, and communicate ideas effectively.

Business & Entrepreneurship is ideal for students considering future study in Business, Economics, Management, or related subjects. It is also well suited to students who simply want to develop practical skills that will benefit them in any future academic or professional pathway. By the end of the programme, students will have a deeper understanding of the business world, increased confidence in presenting ideas, and experience of taking a business concept from initial idea to final pitch.

How to apply -

After completing our booking form, students must prove they have the required Upper Intermediate (CEFR B2) level of English to take the course. Candidates can do this by sending us a certificate or recent school report if studying in an international/boarding/bilingual school. Should this not be possible, students will need to complete our online tests before a place is offered. All candidates will need to take a writing test about their motivation for attending the course.  Should a student not have the required level of English to take this course, we recommend our Intensive General English Course.
