Our English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course is designed for ambitious students aged 14 to 18 with an advanced level of English (C1-C2 CEFR) who are preparing for university study or other academic pathways in English-speaking environments.
Available for students staying a minimum of two weeks, this specialised programme develops the language, study, and critical thinking skills required for success in higher education.
Through a focused and practical curriculum, students strengthen the core competencies of academic English. They refine their essay-writing skills, learning how to structure arguments effectively, use academic sources appropriately, and communicate complex ideas with clarity, precision, and confidence.
Students also engage with authentic academic lectures, presentations, and talks, developing advanced listening comprehension and effective note-taking techniques. Seminar-style discussions encourage active participation, helping students articulate ideas, defend opinions, and respond critically and thoughtfully to the perspectives of others.
With a strong emphasis on accuracy, fluency, and academic conventions, the course equips students with the skills needed for study, research, and academic debate. Lessons foster independence, intellectual curiosity, and confidence, preparing students for the challenges of higher education and future academic success.
By the end of the course, students will have developed a practical toolkit of strategies for critical reading, persuasive academic writing, effective note-taking, and confident participation in academic discussions, enabling them to thrive in a wide range of educational settings.
