Raeburn Scholarship

A Scholarship in memory of a true Scholar
Following the passing of David Raeburn, we are launching a scholarship  for a sixth form student who intends to study Classics or related subject at university. We are looking to find this through donations from Old Whitgiftians and members of the Whitgift community, those who were witness to his humour, kindness and good sensibility.

Whitgift is a special school with a unique history and is on the path to a very bright future. David is as much a part of the future of the School as he is the history, and I feel very fortunate to have known him, to have been taught by him, and to have had the benefit of being educated at his School.

How to Donate

To donate by credit/debit card or cheque by post, please complete and return our donation form (along with your cheque if applicable) to ‘The Development Office, Whitgift School, Nottingham Road, Croydon, CR2 6YT'. Please ensure you state you wish for your gift to be directed towards the Raeburn Scholarship fund on the donation form.

To donate by credit/debit card over the phone, please call the Development and Alumni Relations Team on 020 8633 9922 who will be happy to process your donation for you.

To give  to the Scholarship Fund on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis, please complete and return our donation form either by email or by post to ‘The Development Office, Whitgift School, Nottingham Road, Croydon, CR2 6YT'. Please ensure you state you wish for your gift to be directed towards the Raeburn Scholarship fund on the donation form.
